A few months ago, I realized that I’d wanted to do something a bit unconventional, which would be to start not one, but two women’s interest blogs at the age of 40. As a bit of a dreamer, I envisioned that one of the sites would transition into a full-fledged wellness site, possibly selling organic beauty products, while the second one would remain primarily a beauty and fashion publication. I considered the number of hours in which I’d have to dedicate to this endeavor and ultimately decided to give it a try. Many of the same reasons in which why other women have started beauty and fashion blogs, hold true for me and I, for one, am essentially reclaiming my “youthful” interests or talents.
Several years ago, I was plagued by a prolonged lapse in inspiration and the fast fashions that defined the early 2000’s no longer worked for me anymore, as I’d become less trend conscious. Relatedly, in terms of beauty, I struggled to find items such as lipstick that’s color, hue, or texture met my needs. I would spend hours upon hours scouring online makeup sites searching for the perfect “plum” and would never find it. Also, around the time, I started to have a need for both clothing items and beauty products that did not “irritate” my sensitive skin. I’d begun to develop some sort of contact related allergies to certain materials, that of which are the ones that most trendy clothes were made of.
I decided that I would attempt to “make my own” of each type, the clothes and beauty products. The HOLY SPIRIT speaks to believers in many ways. As HE has always sustained me, I’ve inquired, during prayer, many times about what would ensure the success of these endeavors. I understand that success can manifest in many different ways and might be of another related or seemingly non-related venture, but how does one ensure that what they’ve envisioned to work will be fruitful? Should you always incorporate the TRINITY into your endeavor? Relatedly, what does it take to show that you can honor FATHER GOD, THE HOLY SPIRIT, and KING JESUS in your business venture?
The sewing of sustainable summer dresses and the crafting of organic beauty products is mostly recreational and about consumer empowerment. Additionally, I have wanted to design my own handbags, accessories, and baubles. So definitively, this year is the year in which I pursue my hobby of handbag and accessory design in an entrepreneurial manner or fashion. Being somewhat contemplative, I have questioned, as with before, whether or not this particular endeavor honors FATHER GOD, THE HOLY SPIRIT, and KING JESUS. I have determined that this undertaking, though seemingly silly, does honor THE TRINITY for reasons that I’ll reveal below.
The fruits of THE HOLY SPIRIT are indicative of both virtue and other morally positive characteristics. Those who have salvation and live accordingly, in a GODLY manner, will be blessed to receive one or all of the fruits from THE HOLY SPIRIT. For a bit of background, a virtue is a biblical term used to describe goodness, excellence and purity of character. Moral characteristics are defining elements that determine one’s ethical identity. The fruits of THE HOLY SPIRIT are part of the sustaining component given by HE that keeps Christians from falling prey to deception and corruption. The adage that you can “tell a person by their fruit” is a biblical principal which encourages us to refer to ones underlying character and toil as opposed to those things seen outwardly like physical appearances.
It has come to my awareness over the last few years that I am more business minded than originally known. This is especially surprising given my mind is not that mathematical. Logically, business will require me to illustrate a certain level of benevolence. Ensuring the confidence of my blog viewers and future customers is necessary. I believe factors like transparency and good will to be most important in service and that maintaining a close relationship with the HOLY SPIRIT will equipped one with the ever-encompassing fruits below to sustain in and out of the professional circuit.

Love (Agape)
With the various forms of love and adoration, agape is a love that is strongly rooted in devotion. It is a sacrificial, altruistic form of love in which one experiences during times of service. KING JESUS’s acts of agape love as illustrated throughout the Bible is described as unconditional and unwavering. Through taking part in the voluntary act of serving others, such as with the washing of feet or the distribution of bread and fish to starving patrons, KING JESUS shows us that true agape does not come without toil.
FATHER GOD is agape love in HIS very nature, having given HIS SON to an undeserving world. When one owns a business, there are expectations in terms of providing adequate services that will support the consumers’ growth and meeting needs that will make their lives a little easier. KING JESUS sacrificed his life for the goodwill of mankind that we may live. The HOLY SPIRIT is the force behind agape love, equipping mankind with its power through HIM.
Joy
True joy trumps any sort of fleeting happiness. A trip to your favorite theme park and a taste of cotton candy can bring happiness but a baby’s laughter will bring true joy. The Bible says that FATHER GOD had equipped each of us with the ability to experience joy, which is a “deep gladness” sustained by faith. Joy is intrinsic, and can be expressed even during times of trial. The Greek word chara is one of the closest explanations of joy from a spiritual perspective, joy as expressed in strong rooted relationships with FATHER GOD, THE HOLY SPIRIT, and KING JESUS. Peace
Peace can accurately be defined as an intrinsic state of harmony. Various philosophies differ regarding the use of peace in application. It is a type of well-being in which FATHER GOD equips those who do his will. As with the adage, true peace comes from within it is also true that peace radiates outward into the world where your loved ones can acquire it. Peace with FATHER GOD can be achieved through sustaining a harmonious relationship with HIS SON, KING JESUS, who is the CHRIST and REEDEMER. HE reconciles humanity to FATHER GOD. The best way to begin in developing a relationship with KING JESUS is to pray and read your Bible. One can inquire of KING JESUS any one question that might relate to business and fruitfulness. You might question “How does my business fit into HIS Kingdom?”
Patience
In a biblical sense patience is defined as long suffering and steadfast endurance in the midst of a favorable event. There are many examples in the Bible of sacrificial diligence in hardship before receiving and reaping the benefits, fruit, or harvest,…… that which often awaits at the end of a trial. Patience builds strength and character. During prolonged waiting periods is the time in which one can develop the ever-increasing endurance that steadily pushes experiencers through a lifetime’s worth of trials.
Kindness
Kindness should be exhibited in all of your exchanges and there are so many ways to ensure that such is accomplished. To be kind is to be generous, giving, and friendly all at once. I would advise all people that maintain a business to really consider how one can approach all consumers from the most authentically kind perspective as possible. The Hebrew word chesed conveys loving-kindness and covenantal loyalty, this form of benevolence is undoubtedly unwavering. Kindness is an act of grace or mercy that requires selflessness. FATHER GOD shows us kindness through forgiveness, and steadfast love as stated in Psalm 36:7 “How excellent is thy lovingkindness O GOD! Therefore, the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.”
Faithfulness
Faithfulness through the HOLY SPIRIT includes devotion, commitment and steadfast loyalty. It goes hand in hand with the fruit of goodness, in the sense that trust, and reliability as well as the other concepts that must usually be earned are given precedence through the HOLY SPIRIT. FATHER GOD’s faithfulness provides hope and assurance during times of difficulty. KING JESUS remained faithful to mankind through his tremendous sacrifice on Calvary, which lead to eventual humanly SALVATION through HIM.
Goodness
Goodness as the song says (Goodness of GOD) “All my life YOU have been faithful…..All my life YOU have been soooooo soooooo good……”, there is a definite a direct connection between the virtues of goodness and faithfulness. FATHER GOD calls believers to exhibit goodness during toil. Goodness is simply the selfless act of doing what is right and good for the betterment of society. FATHER GOD’S nature itself is eternally GOOD, meaning that it never wavers. KING JESUS demonstrated grace and humility in HIS human dealings. THE HOLY SPIRIT instructs us in the way of our thoughts and speech as we interact with one another.
Gentleness
Gentleness is the act of being kind, tender, and considerate. One whom encompasses such a quality as tenderness, with both strangers and loved ones, can likely illustrate “strength -under-control”. Empathy along with gentleness can lead one to illustrate restraint during times of conflict. Gentleness is directly correlated with self-control, in the sense that you can create boundaries with others as you demonstrate loving actions towards them, ones that require a degree of gentleness. The Bible describes gentleness as meekness, “power under control”, not weakness. Gentleness is necessary in bearing your neighbor with love, that their true faith will be evident to all who see.
Self-Control
The Bible includes several verses about speaking sharply. One can assume that such an action is directly related to the other fruits in that spoken word is tremendously important and one must speak with kindness thus risk evoking ungodly spirits. The Bible instructs us to be alert and of sober mind so that we can inherit those characteristics from the HOLY SPIRIT that are love driven. Self-control defends believers against sin and sinful behavior that leads to destruction. 2 Timothy 1:7 says that believers are given a SPIRIT “not of fear but of power and love and self-control”.
Honoring THE TRINITY through business
Ultimately, I’ve learned that with business one can be fruitful through producing outcomes that honor THE TRINITY. Favorable outcomes might include those that increase the size of the consumer base / audience, introducing FATHER GOD, THE HOLY SPIRIT, and KING JESUS to customers. The Bible says in Colossians 3:23 “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for me.” It may be advantageous to pray and request “understanding” regarding your company’s superficial and underlying mission.
